Opportunity springs up...oops, squashed!

UPDATE - all of the empty Quintins centre units are being 'refurbished' which is possibly good news for some point in the future for the High Street, but it means the Art in Empty Shops project has ended....for now....until someone can persuade the agents for all of the other empty units in the town to host original art in the windows instead of them falling into disrepair.....Here's a thought, if anyone feels strongly enough, please write to the agents and copy in Hailsham Town Council - public pressure can achieve a lot!

[cancelled: There is a changeover of Art in Empty Shops in Hailsham on Sunday 17th Feb. If any AAG members have a piece on the theme of SPRING it can go into one of the windows. Contact Cllr Steve McAuliffe who is arranging the timing and space. http://www.hailsham-tc.gov.uk/smcauliffe.html]
